When a permit is required

A permit for oversized cargo transportation is required whenever the cargo or machinery together with the vehicle exceeds: 4 m in height, 38 tons in weight, 20 m in length and/or 2.55 m in width. Missing or incorrect paperwork is punishable by a fine.
